There is this well-known idiom, "The true face of Lushan is lost to my sight, for it is right in this mountain that I reside." When one speaks of seeing, there are at least two positions: seeing something from afar and up close. And that stretched and indefinite space between the two poles is not a prologue; It is the substance.
Vemo Hang explores the spatial and mental dimensions between these two seemingly distinct positions by creating many versions of in situ - named Go dynamic (Go refers also to the chess game). Each of these room installation, which often consists of wall drawings and painted sculptural pieces, not only activates but also disturbs the normalized spatial hierarchy. Therefore movement instead of stasis is introduced.
